From two days ago, Snow refuses to say what he has always said before like a broken record, which is that Bush has “confidence” in Maliki’s governing in Iraq. Not much has changed since 1968. Probably a direct response to Karzai’s pronouncements here in the States that the Taliban are “defeated.” Imagine how low US troop strength is in Afghanistan that they couldn’t wipe out 90% of these clowns. |
