Miller, Cambone Lied to Senate Torture Hearing

A Chicago Tribune story by way of another web site, which provides the proves what I claimed in these pages in May 2004: Miller and Cambone lied to the Senate Armed Services Commitee in the original Abu Ghraib hearings, held just after the photos of torture appeared.

Now for the record I’ll make a prediction: this will lead to the revelation that there was a direct pipeline of torture-produced “intelligence” from Abu Ghraib to Rumsfeld and/or the White House. That is why they lied to the Senate under oath, to cover this pipeline up. Rumsfeld (or someone even higher) was micro-managing interrogations of Iraqi prisoners the way LBJ planned bombing raids in his own personal map room.
