THOUSANDS STRANDED, DYING IN 7TH DAY WITHOUT FOOD, WATER

Some 42,000 people were evacuated today from New Orleans, using roads that have been open and ready for vehicle traffic (reporters and celebrities used them all week) the entire time. PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE TROOPS AND BUSES WERE NOT ALLOWED TO GO IN FOR DAYS WHILE PEOPLE STARVED AND DIED OF DEHYDRATION – LIVE ON CAMERA. But the Convention Center is not empty yet; thousands are still there, waiting for more buses. New York City has sent buses; Louisiana state legislators are demanding the use of a closed Air Force Base to shelter people, and plan to “take it” if Bush won’t give permission. Gov. Blanco has hired James Lee Witt, the former FEMA Administrator, because the Bush admin absolutely cannot get it done. People are taking matters into their own hands all over the United States.

New York City is sending 100 city transit buses with police officers; they are rolling now. The freefall and pointless death continues, and the United States of America is a crisis due to a vacuum of national leadership.
