Thomas DeFrank, a well-connected reporter with long ties to Bush going back over 20 years, does it again.
Bush usually reserves his celebrated temper for senior aides because he knows they can take it. Lately, however, some junior staffers have also faced the boss’ wrath.
“This is not some manager at McDonald’s chewing out the help,” said a source with close ties to the White House when told about these outbursts. “This is the President of the United States, and it’s not a pleasant sight.”
Why are the sources leaking this stuff to the papers? To scare Fitzgerald of what might happen if he “damages the White House” too much by enforcing the law. However it’s up to the 23 grand jurors. It only takes 12 to indict on each count. 18 of the grand jurors are African-American, five caucasian, according to news reports.
