David Letterman smeared – but by whom?

What a mess. Either CNN is covering up for the White House, or they are so thoroughly involved in spontaneously generating attacks against Bush’s “enemies” on their own and with no prompting, that they should run a crawl across the bottom of the screen at all times that states “we will defend Bush to the end, no matter what.” Take a look at first this clip from Monday’s Letterman show, and then Tuesday’s followup (2.0 and 5 MB Realplayer files, respectively) and see what you think.
