This is one hell of a story. GOP “leaders” seem to be incapable of encountering any obstacle without reacting with a lie. Major news media were told before Bush’s speech that Sheehan had “unfurled a banner” in the House chamber, something that would understandably get you instantly bounced and/or arrested. But it was never true.
