As explained in the story linked below, Bush’s May 2003 “we have found the weapons of mass destruction” claim was a lie, the best experts had already reported that the weather balloon trailers that had been found had nothing to do with WMD, yet Bushco sat on this for almost a year before burying the truth in a 2004 Iraq Survey Group Report. Now, thanks to TPMMuckraker, we have a slew of quotes from Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz, pushing the same lie long after it had been disproven.
Oh, and McClellan went berserk today with anger, threatening ABC News over reporting about their lies on this subject.
