The CIA-White House battle continues. Something really big is up; I don’t know what it is yet, but this is something big. I suspect it’s Kyle Foggo (who was appointed by Goss) and his connection to the sex-for-contracts operation at the Watergate Hotel. By the way, I think this makes Goss’s tenure the shortest ever as CIA Director, unless someone can correct me here. The nature of what is happening may be revealed by Bush’s choice for a replacement. Of course they will be a “loyalist” insider, but will it be a hatchet person or someone that the CIA culture would respect? How ironic that the son of a CIA Director is so hated by the agency now. Maybe it has something to do with blowing a huge part of their entire anti-Iran nukes project by outing an important agent? Just a guess…
