This is a serious and intentional provocation.
UPDATE: Bloomberg says the attack occurred at 5AM local time in Iraq. That was 9PM local time in Washington, DC, the exact time that Bush’s sabre-rattling speech, televised worldwide, began. That’s no coincidence.
