Tal Afar Attack Deadliest of Entire War

As mentioned before, this “model town,” Tal Afar, is Bush’s favorite example of how the new “surge” is supposed to work. It’s also the calling card of Gen. David Petraeus. Bush hired Petreaus as the new leader in Iraq specifically to do for Baghdad what he did for Tal Afar. Now we see what kind of results to expect in the long run.
