Over the Edge: The “Executive Privilege” Claim Was Made by DOJ Official Illegally in Office

This is so illegal on so many levels, it’s difficult to describe. Bush and Fielding intentionally used a cut-out, a domestic spying figure who was illegally lingering in appointed office against the Senate’s binding wishes, to sign the letter from DoJ advising the White House that Miers was an “executive privileged” witness, immune from every having to even shown up for testimony.

Add this to the amazingly long list of simple stand-alone impeachable offenses, in and of themselves.

UPDATE: Now, as Conyers demands Josh Bolten comply with a subpoena by 10AM Monday or face contempt charges, the White declares itself immune from any possible charge of contempt no matter what they do.
