Gonzales, Addington, Miers Knew About Torture Tapes

New York Times– The White House has already attacked this article and demanded a formal retraction, apparently because the NYT was fooled by their previous non-denial denial. This analysis by drational of the meaning of the story is excellent and I agree with the conclusions: Gonzales perjured himself in regard to the torture at his confirmation hearing. Keep in mind that up until now, the previous issues of “perjury in Gonzales’ confirmation hearing” did not revolve around torture at all.

Here is video of Dana Perino aka Scottie Jr. losing her composure over the scandal that she caused herself, by issuing a non-denial denial so “crafty” that the New York Times accepted it as the truth. Remember, what is happening here is that she is demanding the NYT retract a sub-headline that exonerates the White House from involvement. Because, she says, she never denied they knew about the torture tapes all along. This is what it looks like when a simple-minded animal is cornered. An incompetent person who knows that she is in serious trouble of her own making, because the New York Times believed her previous deceptive denials.

Interestingly some time during this same briefing the EOB next door caught on fire and everyone ran out of Perino’s desperate briefing to see what was going on.
