The Rules and Bylaws Committee of the Democratic Party has spoken, and here is the new math of the result.
What does this mean? Obama wins, and Hillary will not be able to make a huge fight in the convention over Michigan and Florida.
UPDATE: After Puerto Rico, Obama needs just 46 delegates to win. 31 will be elected on Tuesday, ending the primaries. By the end of the week, this blog predicts Obama will have the new “magic number” of 2117 needed to clinch the nomination officially. However, keep in mind that he may ask some superdelegates to delay announcing their vote until he has accumulated enough to go far over that line.
