The Obama campaign is showing that they’re seriously on the ball this week. Since we have now had an entire summer of gaffe-a-day behavior by McCain with hardly any pickup on it by the media, they’ve decided to simply take today’s gaffe and make an ad about it. Within 24 hours. If the Obama crew keeps this up (and there is no reason not to, there are plenty of computers for video editing and money to keep the Tivos running catching McCain’s daily televised outbursts) then their candidate will beat McCain in a landslide.
By the way, McCain owns twelve houses, not seven.
UPDATE: McCain has “responded” to this by reminding people that he was a POW during the Vietnam war. Is that playing the pity card way too readily, or does his campaign sense that this populist attack is doing so much damage it is necessary to bring out Hanoi Hilton stories?
