The Carlyle Group along with other investors bought the giant theater multiplex chain, founded in 1904, for $1.5 billion on June 21, 4 days before “Fahrenheit 9/11” opened. Loews has “Fahrenheit 9/11” showing on only 69 of its 1463 theaters, given that it’s the #1 movie in the country let’s see what they do now….
