CHENEY WANTED TO TORTURE IRAQI WMD WHISTLEBLOWER

The man Cheney wanted tortured, Khudayr, is the Iraqi CIA asset who accurately told his handlers that Saddam’s nuclear project had been terminated. This is the man who knew, and warned the US in plenty of time before the Iraq invasion, that there were no WMDs in Iraq. Cheney’s reaction was a move to torture him.. This pro-US spy, who risked his life to warn the CIA that the WMDs were destroyed by Saddam Hussein, told the complete truth, to the right American agency and well in time to stop the invasion. I conclude that Cheney wanted him tortured in order to make him recant his true story, or failing that, to render him unstable and therefore “unreliable” after the war began.
