This is disgraceful and should disqualify him from being the President of the United States. He is making a political attack to exploit an attack where four Americans were killed, and it’s based on a lie. He is trying to make people believe the US Embassy in Cairo denounced the film after a mob attacked there. He continues to insist that the statement made yesterday by the Embassy (denouncing the hateful anti-Muslim film, and designed to defuse the potential of physical attacks) came from the White House, when Washington has explicitly said that the Embassy made the statement ad hoc and on their own.
I’ve got news for you, Mitt Romney. Of course the President of the United States stands by his ambassador, even when they say something unanticipated that can be twisted out of context only after Americans are killed by mob violence the statement was designed to prevent.
