Albuquerque, N.M. — A teenage boy fatally shot five people — an adult male, an adult female, and three children — inside a home last night. All victims appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Several weapons appeared to have been used, including an assault-type rifle.

Adelanto, Calif. — At a bus stop about 11 a.m. Friday, a 29-year-old man shot and killed his 23-year-old wife, then shot and killed himself. Witnesses said the two were having a heated argument when the man suddenly pulled out a gun. Several people, including children, were at the bus stop when the shooting occurred.

Aurora, Co. — Police called to a home shortly after 11 p.m. Friday found a woman who had been shot several times. She was pronounce dead a short while later at a local hospital. A man living a few houses away from the woman has been arrested.

San Leandro, Calif. — A man was shot and killed and a woman was wounded near a train station about 12:20 p.m. Saturday. Police say two feuding gangs got into an argument there and began a shootout. The victim, believed to be in his 40s, was allegedly an innocent bystander. The woman’s injuries were not life threatening. A 16-year-old male is in custody.

Torrance, Calif. — A man was fatally shot and another was stabbed and injured when a fight broke out at a punk rock concert. The stabbing victim was reported to be in stable condition.

Cleveland, Ohio — A 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and killed and another man wounded in the leg about 1 a.m. this morning after a physical altercation at a bar.

Idaho Falls, Idaho — A 21-year-old woman was found shot dead and lying on the side of a road about 1 p.m. yesterday. Her car was stuck in the snow about 50 yards away. A 22-year-old man has been taken into custody.

Washington, D.C. — A 44-year-old man was fatally shot on a sidewalk about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. He was hit multiple times and pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Dallas. Tex. — A 24-year-old man was shot and killed at a convenience store about 1:30 a.m. this morning after he got into an argument with another man. The suspect fled the scene.

Kansas City, Kan. — A woman in her early 40s was found shot to death about 1 p.m. yesterday.

Shiloh, N.J. — A father attempting to shoot a deer while hunting with a 12-gauge shotgun accidentally shot and wounded his 14-year-old son about 12:30 p.m. yesterday. A single buckshot pellet struck the boy’s face under the eye and exited through his cheek. He is in stable condition and the injury is considered non life-threatening.

Oklahoma City, Ok. — An 11-year-old boy was shot about 7 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex. He is in serious condition at a hospital.

Anchorage, Alaska — Gunshots fired at a home about 2:45 a.m. Saturday injured a 15-year-old girl sleeping inside. She was struck once in the leg.

Washington, D.C. — A security guard accidentally shot himself about 11:30 p.m. Friday.

Raleigh, N.C. — Three people were wounded at a gun show when a 12-gauge shotgun accidentally went off as its 36-year-old male owner — looking to sell the gun — unzipped its case so a law enforcement officer could check the gun at a security entrance.

Indianapolis, Ind. — A 54-year-old man leaving a gun show was injured when he accidentally shot himself in the hand while loading his .45-caliber semi-automatic. Loaded personal weapons were not allowed inside the show.

Medina, Ohio — Yesterday, a dealer at a gun show shot his friend, a 62-year-old man, when he accidentally pulled the trigger on a semi-automatic handgun he had bought at the show. Police think the bullet ricochet off the floor before hitting the friend. The magazine had been removed, but one round remained in the chamber.

Birmingham, Ala. — A man was shot about 9:56 a.m. this morning.

Tampa — Two men, ages 31 and 27, were hit by bullets about 3 a.m. Sunday at a club after a closing-time fight escalated into a parking-lot shoot-out. The incident began after one of the victims argued with a man he saw talking to his girlfriend. Hundreds of the bar-patrons dashed for cover when the shooting began.

Little Rock, Ark. — Two people were shot at a home just after noon yesterday. Both are reported in stable condition.

Huntsville, Ala. — A woman shot her boyfriend about 8 p.m. yesterday after the couple had an argument. His injuries are considered life threatening.

Mobile, Ala. — A man was shot three times while riding a bike about 8:15 p.m. last night. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Las Vegas, Nev. — Two women shot about 11 a.m. yesterday were among 150 to 200 people watching a men’s soccer-league game at a public park. Police said shots were fired toward the field from over a wall. The injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Chicago, Ill, –A 25-year-old man was shot in the leg during a party on the 22nd floor of a hotel about 2:15 a.m. today. He was reported in good condition. All involved in the incident were acquaintances.

Chicago, Ill. — A male teen shot in the arm yesterday about 1:50 p.m. was listed in serious condition at a local hospital.

Milwaukee, Wis. — A 20-year-old woman was shot at around 1:40 a.m. this morning. Her injuries are non-life-threatening. The suspect being held is known to the victim.

Milwaukee, Wis. — A 34-year-old woman was shot outside a nightclub last night. Her injuries are non-life-threatening.

Milwaukee, Wis. — A 21-year-old man was shot on a street about 9 p.m. last night. His injuries are non-life-threatening.

Little Rock, Ark. — A man was shot by in the leg by an assailant while sitting in his parked car on a street.

Jackson, Miss. — A 23-year-old man was shot in the chest shortly after noon yesterday. The incident occurred in the general area of a parade that was underway honoring the memory of Martin Luther King Jr.

St. Louis, Mo. — A 16-year-old boy was shot in the leg and robbed about 7:30 p.m. Friday after a high school basketball game .

Aloha, Or. — The victim of a shooting about 9 p.m. last night was taken to a local hospital.

Orlando, Fla. — A man who heard a noise outside his home about 7:45 p.m. yesterday was shot twice when he opened the door to investigate. The victim is expected to survive.

Columbus, Ohio — A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot during an after-school fight Thursday at a fast-food restaurant that involved about 50 students from a nearby high school.

Prattville, Ala. — A 27-year-old man died around noon on Wednesday when a loaded high-powered rifle accidentally went off as he lost control of his vehicle. Police say the vehicle went off road and, when the driver apparently over corrected, it went off the road a second time and struck some bushes. Police found the rifle on the front seat. The bullet hit him in the upper torso.

Laguna Niguel, Calif. — A 24-year-old woman was shot and killed by her 25-year-old husband about 1:25 a.m. Friday at an apartment complex. He was questioned and released. The cause is under investigation.

Aurora, Col. — A woman was fatally shot in the parking lot of an Aurora residential complex after witnesses reported hearing an argument between a man and a woman about 1:25 a.m. Friday.

Pomona, Calif. — A 32-year-old man was found shot to death outside a car on a freeway early Wednesday morning. The back window of the car was shot out and the victim was hit multiple times in the upper torso.

Montgomery, Ala. — A adult male found with a gunshot wound was pronounced dead at the scene about 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Chicago, Il. — A man about 21-years old was shot to death inside a fast-food restaurant around 9:15 p.m. last night. The assailant was outside the restaurant and fired at least four shots through the front window before fleeing on foot.

Chicago, Ill. — A man in his 20s was found shot to death on a sidewalk about 9:30 p.m. last night. He had been shot in the face.

Philadelphia, Penn. — Attackers wearing black ski masks shot a 56-year-old man in the head, critically wounded him, during a home invasion about 8:40 p.m. yesterday.

Los Angeles, Calif. — Two people were found shot in an alley around 12:45 p.m. yesterday. One was reported in critical condition; the other was in serious condition.

Jefferson Parish, La. — A man was shot in the stomach yesterday about 11:30 p.m.

Oklahoma City, Ok. — A female homeowner shot one of five men trying to burglarize her house Friday night. A male friend of the woman also shot one of the intruders using her gun. All the burglars fled the house, but the two who were shot ended up at a hospital in serious to critical condition.

Chicago, Ill. — A 35-year-old man was shot in the arm about 4 a.m. this morning. He was in stable condition.

Chicago, Ill. — A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg about 11:35 p.m. last night. He was in good condition at a local hospital.

Chicago, Ill. — Three or four men came to an apartment about 10:20 p.m. last night and when the door was opened, they shot a man sitting on a couch before fleeing. He was hit in the arms and legs and is in stable condition.

Chicago, Ill. — A 15-year-old was shot in the chest and a 16-year-old was grazed in the back when someone in a passing car shot at them about 9:45 p.m. yesterday. The 15-year-old is in critical condition; the other victim is in good condition.

Chicago, Ill. — Two men were shot on a street around 7:30 p.m. last night. One of the men , 20-years-old, was hit in the back. He was in serious condition at a local hospital. The other victim, 18-years-old, was hit in the foot and his condition was reported as stabilized.

Chicago, Ill. — A 33-year-old male passenger in a moving vehicle was wounded about 6:50 p.m. last night when someone opened fire, striking him in the arm and shoulder.

Chicago, Ill. — Someone was shot in the upper left arm while on a street about 1 p.m. yesterday. He was reported in good condition at a hospital.

Charlotte, N.C. — Someone was shot in the abdomen about 2:30 this morning when several men pulled into a parking lot and started firing. The victim is in serious condition.

Kearny, N.J. — A 16-year-old girl was fatally shot in her home about 6:30 p.m. yesterday. A 37-year-old man with a prior homicide conviction has been arrested.

Forrest City, Ark. — Police found a 21-year-old man shot once in the chest inside a home Thursday evening about 6:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Los Angeles, Calif. — An innocent bystander — a 45-year-old grandmother — died after being hit by a stray bullet while standing outside of a home about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. She was struck in the head and died at the scene.

Chicago, Ill. — A 19-year-old man was shot several times on a street about 6 p.m. yesterday. He was later declared dead at a nearby hospital.

Pearland, Texas — A woman fatally shot herself yesterday about 4:45 p.m. after she was seen with a gun and chasing a gunshot man down a street. When police arrived, the woman shot herself in the head and died at the scene. The man is hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Kansas City, Mo. — A man was found shot to death inside a residence about 11:15 a.m. Friday.

The Bronx, N.Y. — A 30-year-old man and his 20-year-old niece were found shot to death inside a parked car about 12:15 a.m. Wednesday. Both appeared to be shot in the back of the head.

Oak Hill, W.V. — A 23-year-old man shot a 26-year-old man in the face with a handgun, killing him about 3:30 p.m. yesterday. The shooter claims it was an accident but police have charged him with murder.

Orlando, Fla. — One man is dead and a woman wounded and hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment complex about 6:20 p.m. last night.

Baton Rouge, La. — A 15-year-old boy was shot in the head and a 19-year-old man shot in the back near a house just before 2 a.m. Thursday. The boy was later pronounced brain dead. The 19-year-old is expected to recover.

Chicago, Ill. — A 57-year-old woman was shot and wounded while riding a bus about 8:38 p.m. last night. The victim was hit in the arm and chest. She is in good condition at a local hospital.

Chicago, Ill. — A 26-year-old man was shot on a street about 1:30 p.m. yesterday. No report on his condition.

Chicago, Ill. — An 18-year-old girl was shot in the thigh about 3:45 p.m. yesterday. She is listed in good condition.

Chicago, Ill. — A 23-year-old man walking with another person was shot about 7:40 p.m. yesterday when someone in a passing car opened fire. No report yet on his condition.

New Orleans, La. — A male shot in the buttocks about 8 p.m. last night is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Police found a 61-year-old man sitting on a front porch about 10:45 a.m. yesterday with gunshot wounds to his elbow, leg, and hand.

Indianapolis, Ind. — A 51-year-old man was shot in the chest this morning around 2 a.m. when he opened the back door of a home after responding to a knock at the door. His condition is unknown.

Denver, Co. — One of the several occupants in a moving pick-up truck fired shots at a group of children in Aurora, Colorado on Wednesday. Police also believe shots were fired from the same truck at someone walking on a street in Denver. Police chased the truck, exchanging gunfire, until it crashed into a tree about 3:30 p.m. A Denver police officer shot in the shoulder during the incident has been released from the hospital. A suspect is dead. Three other suspects are injured — one critically — and in custody

Lapeer, Mich. — A security officer at a charter school left an unloaded handgun unattended in a school bathroom on Monday. The officer, who is retired from a county sheriff’s department, was recently hired to strengthen school security.

Marblemount, Wash. — A 31-year-old man accidentally shot and killed his 28-year-old girlfriend as they camped in a tent Saturday night. He was putting his .45-caliber revolver under his pillow to go to sleep when the gun went off, striking the woman in the head.

Atlanta, Ga. — One man was killed and another critically injured when they were shot at a tattoo parlor about 6 p.m. last night. Both men worked at the parlor.

Sandy Springs, Ga. –An 89-year-old woman and her two children — a 45-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman — were discovered shot to death inside a home around 4 p.m. yesterday. A gun was found in the home, but police do not know if it was used in the shootings.

Chicago, Ill. — A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed about 9:20 p.m. last night outside a gymnasium after a high school basketball game.

Melrose, Park, Ill. — A 41-year-old woman was shot and killed after a gunman stole her purse around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday as she stood outside her car in her garage.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Police found a 19-year-old man fatally shot around 9:15 p.m. last night.

Kansas City, Mo. — A man was shot and killed when his vehicle was carjacked about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

New Brunswick, N.J. — A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after he was shot in an attempted robbery inside a home around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Los Angeles, Calif. — A woman in her 20s was killed after being struck in the head by a stray bullet while standing outside her house around 7:30 p.m. last night.

St. Louis, Mo. — A 24-year-old man found lying in a street about 11:40 p.m. last night with gunshot wounds to his torso was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Dumfries, Va. — An adult woman was found around 3:30 a.m. Thursday morning shot to death. She had gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Detroit, Mich. — A 17-year-old female high-school student was shot in the leg after school about 3:25 p.m. at a gas station across the street from the school. Several males were arguing there, and the altercation escalated to gunfire. The student was an innocent bystander. She is expected to recover.

Yakima, Or. — A 15-year-old boy was shot and wounded on a sidewalk Tuesday.

Charleston, W.Va. — A 47-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot in the chest and leg outside the front door of his home about 4:30 a.m. Thursday after an apparent altercation.

Houston, Texas — A 59-year-old woman was shot in the leg by two would-be robbers at home as she slammed the front door on them about 11:30 p.m. last night. A shot went through the closed door, hitting the woman. Her condition is not life-threatening.

Racine, Wis. — A 44-year-old woman was shot twice — once in the arm and once in the head — about 10:45 p.m. Wednesday night. No report on her condition.

Macon, Ga. — A 32-year-old man was shot in the jaw around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. No report on his condition. The alleged shooter was also wounded.

Blue Springs, Mo. — Two men, one in his 50s and one in his 30s, forced their way into a home about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday where they tied up a male and female couple in their 20s and shot the man below the waist. He is expected to survive. The couple’s 4-year-old son was asleep during the incident. The suspects then got away on foot with money and items.

Port Orchard, Wash. — A 58-year-old man faces criminal charges after a .38 special accidentally fell out of his pocket and discharged as he shopped in a mall. No one was hit.

Montville Township, Ohio — Two men, ages 53 and 45, were shooting an AK-47 assault rifle at paper targets without any backstop, sending bullets flying up to 500 yards. Some of the bullets whizzed past the heads of responding police, others pierced two occupied homes to become lodged in walls and a microwave oven. Police arrested the men, who had been drinking, and seized an AK-47 assault rifle with 628 rounds, a 9 mm handgun with 50 rounds, a .380-caliber handgun with eight rounds, and a .22-caliber revolver with 40 rounds.

Hazard, Ky. — A 21-year-old man fired a semi-automatic pistol into a vehicle at a community college parking lot about 6 p.m. yesterday, killing a 20-year-old woman and her 53-year-old uncle, and wounding the uncle’s 12-year-old daughter. The gunman, who had a young child with the 20-year-old victim, has been arrested. The 12-year-old was listed in critical condition.

Baltimore, Md. — A 17-year-old girl was fatally shot and a 19-year-old man wounded as they sat in a pickup truck in an alley around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Mercer County, Penn. — The district attorney’s office said today a 44-year-old man who accidentally shot and killed his 7-year-old son on December 8th won’t face charges. The father had taken the precaution of emptying the magazine of his pistol, but didn’t realize a bullet was still in the chamber.

Gary, Ind. — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed on a street around 11:10 p.m. last night. He was hit in the head.

St. Louis, Mo. –A 23-year-old man found shot and bleeding on a sidewalk near his home just before 9 p.m. Tuesday night died later at a hospital. He had been shot in the torso, buttocks, and foot.

Newark, N.J. — A 26-year-old man was shot in an apartment around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday evening. He died about 45 minutes later at a nearby hospital.

Kinloch, Mo. — A 38-year-old man was found fatally shot on a street about 5 p.m. Tuesday. An 28-year-old male acquaintance of the victim has been arrested. Police believe the two argued prior to the shooting.

Houston, Texas — One man was fatally shot and two other people were injured during a robbery in a parking lot around 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Chicago, Ill. — A woman was pronounce dead about 8 p.m. last night at a local hospital after she was shot on a street.

Memphis, Tenn. — A 27-year-old man died and a 26-year-old man was wounded about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night when they were shot by three intruders at an apartment complex in an apparent robbery. The wounded man was in critical condition.

Orlando, Fla. — Two men were shot about 6:30 p.m. yesterday. They drove themselves to a local hospital in a bullet-ridden car. One man is in critical condition; the other has life-threatening injuries.

St. Louis, Mo. — A 34-year old male student who recently lost financial aid at his college went into the school early yesterday afternoon and shot the financial aid director in the chest with a handgun. The student then shot himself, although it was not yet clear if his wound was intentional or accidental. The financial aid director, a male, is expected to recover. The shooter is in critical condition.

New Orleans, La. — A man was shot three times in the chest while on a street about 1:33 p.m. Tuesday. No report on his condition.

Macon, Ga. — Police are looking for a 41-year-old man accused of shooting his nephew around 5:20 p.m. last night.

Chicago, Ill. — A 23-year-old man sitting in an SUV was shot seven times. The incident happened about 8 p.m. Tuesday when another SUV pulled alongside and the driver shot the victim. The victim was in good condition at a local hospital.

Chicago, Ill. — A 47-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the head when he was shot about 6 a.m. this morning. His condition was listed as stable.

Reserve, La. — A 40-year-old man was accidentally shot Saturday morning by his 38-year-old male hunting partner. When their moving boat hit a submerged stump, the younger man was knocked backward in his seat, causing him to accidentally fire a shot from his .22 caliber rifle that struck the victim in his neck. The victim is in stable condition.

Washington, D.C. — A man was shot once in each leg and in his hand while behind a house about 10:10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Washington, D.C. — A man demanding money shot another man in the hand outside a homeless shelter about 10:15 last night. Police are looking for the shooter.

Birmingham, Ala. — A man was shot in the back during a robbery just before 9 p.m. last night at a convenience store where he works as a cashier.

Salt Lake City, Utah — A man in a car used a handgun to shoot at two men in a pick-up truck as both vehicles traveled an interstate highway about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Apparently, some sort of driving-related issue developed between the two drivers as the pick-up merged with highway traffic. A few minutes later, as the pick-up exited the highway, the driver of the car shot at the pick-up. The truck was hit several times but no one was injured.

Sidney, Neb. — On Sunday evening, a 28-year-old man died when a gun he was handling accidentally fired and the bullet struck him in the head.

Airway Heights, Wash. — A 53-year-old man shot and killed his 31-year-old son during an early Sunday morning fight after a night of drinking. The father claims it was an accident.

Baton Rouge, La. — A 29-year-old man died after he was shot on a street around 1:15 a.m. Monday.

Milwaukee, Wis. — Two men were fatally shot around 2 a.m. this morning.

Atlanta, Ga. — Two men in their 20s were shot at a shopping center Monday night. One of the men died on the way to a nearby hospital, the other is in critical condition. Police say at least 20 shots were fired during the incident.

Brooklyn, N.Y. — A 22-year-old man was found on a street fatally shot in the chest about 1:30 a.m. today.

Washington, D.C. — A 27-year-old man found shot on a street about 10:45 a.m. Monday died a short time later in a nearby hospital.

Colorado Springs, Co. — Two people were shot and killed inside their home. Police believe the two returned home and surprised a burglar already in the house.

Atwater Township, Ohio — A 32-year-old man was fatally shot at a residence during an altercation around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Houston, Texas — A man was killed and another was shot in the chest about 1:50 a.m. today by a man who told police he caught the men breaking into his vehicle outside his house.

Kansas City, Mo. — A 7-year-old and a toddler were in serious condition after they were hit by stray gunfire that struck their home around 8 p.m. Monday. Police say two people shot at each other on the street and some of the shots hit the home with the children inside.

Akron, Ohio — A 19-year-old man was shot in the chest around 1:30 p.m. Monday as he walked through an alley with his brother. The victim is expected to survive. A witness said the gunman fired nine shots.

Montgomery County, Md. — Someone was shot on a street about 10:30 p.m. yesterday.

Brooklyn, N.Y. — A 44-year-old man in a car stopped at a red light is in critical condition after a gunman walked up and fired three shots through the windshield and driver’s-side door around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. The victim was hit in the forehead and leg. A 36-year-old male passenger was not hit. Police believe the victim was targeted.

Phoenix, Ariz. — A woman was shot in the stomach and a man shot in the head around 7:30 p.m. Monday. The man was reported in extremely critical condition. The woman’s condition was unknown.

Louisville, Neb. — A 32-year-old man was critically injured about 5 p.m. Monday when he was shot in the head at his home. A 64-year-old man who also lives in the home is wanted in connection with the shooting.

Charlotte, N.C. — A person was robbed and shot in the arm at an ATM around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Trenton, N.J. — Two men, ages 21 and 36, were shot early Monday morning after they let seven others inside their home and a fight broke out. One of the visitors pulled out a handgun and started shooting. The shooter then fled with the others.

Trenton, N.J. — A 21-year-old was found on a sidewalk about 1 p.m. Sunday with a gunshot wound to the buttocks. The victim was expected to survive.

New Orleans, La. — A man was shot in the chest while on a street around 11:57 p.m. Monday.

Memphis, Tenn. — A 22-year-old man was shot twice about 1:30 a.m. this morning during a robbery in a parking lot near a gas station. The victim was in critical condition.

Spokane, Wash. — A driver shot at another driver’s tire with a .22 caliber pistol around 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. The shooter told police he shot the tire because the other driver cut him off.

Breckenridge, Mo. — A 12-year-old is dead after accidentally shooting himself inside a home around 8:45 p.m. Friday. He was mishandling a gun when it went off.

Tuscaloosa, Ala. — A 13-year-old boy died after he was accidentally shot at a hunting club late Saturday afternoon. A group of boys were putting away guns thought to be empty following a rabbit hunt. One gun went off hitting the boy.

Las Vegas, Nev. — The victim of a fatal shooting after an altercation at a party reported yesterday on this diary has been identified as a 14-year-old boy. He died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Baltimore, Md. — Two men and a woman leaving an after-hours club were shot around 5:30 a.m. Sunday. One of the men, 25-years-old, died about an hour later. The other man was in serious condition at a local hospital. The woman is expected to survive.

Phoenix, Ariz. — A 17-year-old male was shot to death after there was an argument outside an apartment complex around 11:15 p.m. Saturday. Two brothers of the victim have been arrested.

DeKalb County, Ga. — A 30-year-old man was found shot dead about 1 a.m. this morning in the yard of a house.

Chicago, Ill. — A 28-year-old man was shot after getting into an argument with another person at a gas station around 4:30 a.m. this morning. He was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later at a local hospital.

Memphis, Tenn. — A 20-year-old man was shot to death by his 28-year-old brother-in-law just before 1 p.m. Sunday.

Memphis, Tenn. — A 31-year-old man was shot at a convenience store while putting air into a tire around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Oklahoma City, Ok. — Police responding to a report of a burglary at a home about 3:20 a.m. Monday found a 20-year-old man shot to death. Authorities believe someone kicked in the front door, then shot the man and fled.

Baton Rouge, La. — A 41-year-old man was shot and killed when he answered the door of his apartment about 6:25 p.m. Sunday.

Birmingham, Ala. — A man was found shot to death inside his car about 8:20 a.m. this morning. The investigation is just underway, but police say the injuries might have been self-inflicted.

St. Louis, Mo. — A 48-year-old man was found unconscious next to a bicycle shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim had a puncture wound near his mouth and police found multiple shell-casings near his body.

St. Louis, Mo. — An 18-year-old man found shot on a street about 10:15 p.m. Sunday was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

San Diego, Calif. — A 47-year-old man suspected of trying to kill his 50-year-old wife tried to commit suicide in front of police in the backyard of his home around 12:30 p.m. Sunday. When police arrived, the man walked out of the house carrying an assault rifle, sat on a patio chair, put the gun under his chin, and fired one round. His wife was found bruised, battered, and strangled. Both are expected to survive.

Jackson, Miss. — A police officer who was shot while responding to a disturbance around 11 p.m. Saturday. He is reported as “doing well.”

New Orleans, La. — A man shot Sunday afternoon is in stable condition at a local hospital.

Houston, Texas — A 22-year-old man was shot during a robbery after stopping his vehicle to fix a flat tire about 3 a.m. this morning. After a vehicle stopped near him, three suspects got out and opened fire on the man. He is in critical condition.

Houston, Texas — A 17-year-old female was shot several times during a robbery at a convenience store parking lot just before midnight Saturday. She is in critical but stable condition.

St. Petersburg, Fla. — A man has been shot at an apartment complex and taken to a hospital at 12:30 p.m. today with serious wounds to his upper body.

Glenarden, Md. — A restaurant delivery man was shot and wounded during a robbery about 8:15 p.m. Sunday. The man had just made a delivery of Chinese food when he was robbed and shot in the stomach by two assailants.

Denver, Co. — Two men were shot at an apartment about 7:45 p.m. Sunday. Both suffered leg wounds; one was also shot in the torso.

Baltimore, Md. — Police were called to a hospital about 9 p.m. Sunday after two shooting victims arrived there on foot. Both had non-life-threatening injuries.

Baltimore, Md. — A 57-year-old man was shot by his father at an apartment around midnight this morning. The father had become angry at the victim and shot at him, hitting him in the arm.
