Miami Mayor Shuts Down Early Voting During Scheduled Hours

He committed a crime and now he admits it. Meanwhile, people are turned away from voting after waiting hours in line, and find their cars have been towed away on a Sunday afternoon.

ROMNEY WILL NOT CONCEDE ON ELECTION NIGHT

This is another official “prediction” (speculation) from narus.info. Mitt Romney will lose the election on Tuesday both in the popular vote and the electoral college. He will refuse to concede on election night, making it only the second such election in modern history. How can he do this? Republican governors will hold up election results long enough to muddy the waters and allow Romney to go to bed without acknowledging his defeat. I predict that the combination of Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania (yes Pennsylvania) will delay their election returns (or the vote will genuinely be close enough in some cases) for a long enough time on Tuesday night that Obama will be put on the spot, he’ll have to decide whether to declare victory in public while his opponent refuses to call him and concede. I am specifically not claiming that Romney will claim he is the victor of the election or that the result will be disputed in the courts. This won’t happen because Obama will win by more than one state. I am predicting that Romney will delay his concession for at least a day. Romney bought a delay in the Iowa caucus returns, and delays in several other states, allowing him to pretend to be possibly-the-winner-but-he-definitely-was-not during the primaries multiple times. He’s going to do it again. Don’t plan a fun election night party.

UPDATE: The first evidence of the plan (other than Romney wasting his time in Pennsylvania today when he is losing in Florida and Ohio). Romney is not even close in Pennsylvania, yet Fleischer includes the state in his list. Pennsylvania has one of the most dishonest Republican governors in the nation and if he comes through for Mitt, Kasich will do the same in Ohio and Rick Scott in Florida, creating enough “doubt” that Obama will not be “officially” at 270 electoral votes until the day after the election.

This is a map of the type of sabotage that would monkey wrench election night for Obama. Just withholding or disputing the results from Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio is enough to claim “either candidate could still win.” Pennsylvania is not even close, but it has the needed 20 electoral votes instead of Virginia’s 13, and that is why Romney went through the charade of campaigning there despite being clearly behind in the state by an unwinnable margin. Under the math below, Obama is denied 270 votes on election night, and it only takes the cooperation of 3 very partisan GOP governors, all 3 of whom have a track record of interfering with this election in multiple ways already.

Nine Hours In Line To Vote In Florida

Imagine what it will be like in Ohio and Florida on election day. Rick Scott is a criminal and it is only through criminally suppressing the people’s right to vote that a Republican in today’s America could ever have a ghost of a chance to win. Romney will lose, and these Americans are why. I thank them for saving this country from the likes of Mitt Romney.

Staten Island

I have said several times for over a week that the media and GOP would like to make hurricane Sandy into “Obama’s Katrina.” They are now doing it. They’re doing it regardless of the fact that those in terrible shape in locations like Staten Island were specifically told in advance by the President of the United States, their Governor, and their Republican Mayor, to evacuate. The media is doing it regardless of the fact that President Obama put thousands of tons of rescue supplies in place in advance, and is now distributing them as rapidly as possible with model cooperation between FEMA and the state and local governments. The media is doing this despite the fact that President Romney and Vice President Ryan at this point would be openly scorning the victims and giving no aid at all, leaving it to the “private sector” to rake over these people and make profit from their suffering. Individual people can be easily found by news media crews who, after staying behind and being hit by the hurricane against orders by authorities, are now miserable and irritable due to lack of food, water, heat and/or shelter. These people are overwhelmingly white Northerners. There will be no discussion in the news media about how they “lack personal responsibility” as was claimed about Katrina victims in New Orleans.

Final Presidential Election Strategies

This is Romney’s planned path to victory, in my opinion: Colorado, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia and New Hampshire get him to 271 electoral votes without the need for Ohio. This is a long shot because Obama is ahead in every one of these states except North Carolina according to the most recent polls.

As of now, this is what I predict the final result will be on election night, with 303 electoral votes for Barack Obama.

From Nate Silver’s blog, upon which I rely heavily, is this chart of probabilities. Note the unlikelihood of a Romney win in Wisconsin; I believe Obama is campaigning there in order both to humiliate and damage Ryan, and to force Romney to put all his bets on Ohio. Similarly, with time running out, Obama threatens in Florida and keeps going down there (a win there for him would be a massive upset this year) which forces Romney to keep traveling there. He’s running Romney ragged.

Both Ohio and Wisconsin have extremely dishonest, corrupt Republican governors who have done incredible things, sometimes illegal, to interfere with and rig the outcome of the election. However I believe that if Romney won either of these states (he will not win both) through election process fraud, he would also lose the popular vote at the same time. At this point I don’t picture him sticking his neck out that far to take the Presidency, the backlash would be incredible. If he wins by only one state, the Democrats will take the state with the most controversial outcome to the Supreme Court of the U.S. and we’d have another election decided that way. That won’t happen.
