Santorum won the Iowa caucuses, period. This illustrates what money can buy you if you have Mitt Romney’s kind of money. His campaign simply used their influence in Iowa to temporarily “freeze” the inaccurate vote count in a state that showed Romney the “winner,” generating many headlines. Now his money is being unleashed on Gingrich again and it’s going to get very ugly. The Romney camp thinks Gingrich has to be destroyed the way Herman Cain was, and that is exactly what they will do, given their almost infinite money supply.
