BUSH OBSTRUCTS JUSTICE, COMMUTES LIBBY SENTENCE WHEN APPEAL LOST

Bush does not have the guts to pardon I. Lewis Libby on “principle,” but has just commuted his prison sentence. This is a major political mistake, polls showed 77% of Americans were opposed to any attempt to stop justice in this case, such as a pardon.

THIS IS A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SHIELD DICK CHENEY FROM JUSTICE. IT IS ALSO THE FINAL PROOF THAT RICHARD B. CHENEY, NOT GEORGE W. BUSH, IS THE ACTING PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

Patrick Fitzgerald has a legal duty to object to this. If he does, Bush will probably fire him. Either way, we are already at the level of the Saturday Night Massacre of 1973.
