Wal-Mart Corporate HQ Lays Off 700 Workers

So much for all the bullshit corporate-media headlines about “Wal-Mart’s business improving despite recession.” Explain this, GOP Wal-Mart lovers. Wal-Mart employment was the model for the American worker’s future since the 1980s, according to not just the GOP but also to the Governor of Arkansas Bill Clinton and his wife, Wal-Mart Board of Directors Member Hillary Clinton, throughout the 1980s and the 1990s, right up until today. This is where it ends up. First they broke American jobs down into worse and worse jobs, until everyone was working for 39 hours a week or less at Wal-Mart. Then, they lay off the Wal-Mart workers.
