with only about half attending (how many of the rest were not there out of fear of being attacked?)….this sounds like sad news to me that a bunch of thugs and fascist hoodlums can intimidate a government into refusing to defend itself against violent attack? What would the US government do if protesters were throwing stones and molotov cocktails, and taking over government buildings by force, menacing congress and the white house etc? It is absolutely absurd that the US was demanding that they withdraw security forces
