SECOND REACTOR CONTAINMENT BUILDING EXPLODES

The mainstream media, including CNN, is now openly talking about the possibility that two nuclear reactor cores are melting down.

This building was filled with radioactive gas. When you watch this video, you are seeing the beginning of the end of hundreds if not thousands of human lives. Some time Sunday, reactor #3 became the second reactor to melt down, venting radioactive hydrogen gas into the outer containment building, which has exploded even more violently than the reactor #1 building did. In addition, some 50 tons of irradiated used nuclear fuel has just been dispersed into the atmosphere.

You can watch live NHK English Television here at this link.

Huge Explosion At Nuclear Power Plant

People with radiation exposure reported already. The evacuation perimeter around the plant has been expanded. I predict a real nuclear meltdown, it may have already occurred. If it does, the public will be the last to know, unless they live near the plant.

This article has a lot more information about what is involved in a meltdown and what is known so far about the situation in Fukushima.

In the known effects of the earthquake and tsunami, one city alone officially reports 10,000 missing people.

UPDATE: A top Japanese nuclear safety official reports “a meltdown may be under way” at one of the reactors.

The Japanese government has confirmed there was a meltdown. Let’s hope the official is in error.

UPDATE 2:At 1AM Central Standard Time, the Japanese Prime Minister’s chief cabinet official was shown live on NHK television via CNN confirming two meltdowns and said a third reactor was out of control. It is time to prepare for evacuation of the West Coast of the United States. A few seconds later I heard the same report essentially on the BBC. This is the biggest news story on planet Earth since September 11, 2001 and the tsunami itself was already more deadly.

I highly recommend this video wherein a former Toshiba engineer involved with this plant explains what happened.

Wisconsin Representative Thrown To Ground In Capitol By Police

For trying to go to his office.

Wisconsin Governor Welding Windows Shut In Capitol Building

Earlier today in Madison, Wisconsin, an edict was announced that unless pro-democracy protesters left the upper floor of the building, no more people would be allowed inside, specifically that the doors would be locked, limiting the contingent inside to the people currently there. Now there are affidavits stating that welders have been seen sealing the windows, which would prevent food from being passed inside, which is the only sustenance literally for the protesters who can’t leave. This seems to be a desperate tactical step taken after police refused to eject the protesters from their own capitol building this weekend. It appears he will try to literally starve his own citizens out of the capitol building as part of his effort to slash their wages and rights.

Libyan Aircraft Fire On Protesters

As reported by Al-Jazeera. They also report that dozens of people protesting against Kadhafi are dead.

Bahrain Monarchy Massacres Pro-Democracy Protest Camp

The King of Bahrain is a big US ally, and a bloody murderer. Will the media even ask the President about this situation and the difference, if any, in the US position compared to what happened in Egypt?

Lara Logan of CBS Sexually Assaulted Covering Egyptian Uprising

For years I’ve been saying that Logan is an excellent reporter, and have posted her stories several times. Regardless of that, this is saddening news. Something makes me think we won’t be seeing many more replays of Anderson Cooper’s “bravery” in Tahrir square.

MUBARAK STEPS DOWN

After the killing of over 300 innocent Egyptians to preserve his power, Hosni Mubarak has stepped down from his post as dictator of Egypt.
