UPDATE: Interweb rumors seem to indicate that Olbermann was removed from his show, yes, the one that made the entire network what it is today, but that he may still be working for Comcast on a different network the “VS.” sports network. In that case, he was “fired” from his show, but not his employment with the new owners. I’d rather offer that correction here than change the headline.

Sheriff’s Chief Rick Kastigar says he watched the first part, which shows Jared Loughner shooting Giffords in the forehead from about two feet away. He says the 22-year-old then turns his gun on a group of people sitting in chairs waiting to meet the congresswoman.

Kastigar says Loughner can be seen shooting Giffords’ aide Ron Barber. At that point U.S. District Judge John Roll appears to try to shield Barber with his body while pushing him under a table.
